The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education today released data for districts across the state related to achievement tests from this spring. The results show our district continues to make improvements and grow versus the state overall. For the first time, our district is above state advanced and proficient averages in ELA and Math! We also have decreased the total gap against the state significantly in the past 3 years. Thank you for your hard work and efforts! The time you are putting in with data teams, collaboration and PLC is paying off.

We also see that we decreased the gap in our Super Subgroup which is our Free and Reduced and IEP students. These numbers show we are above State averages in Math and ELA also and our total gap average is now above the state!

These results from the 2016 spring Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) tests are now available and the recent data released from the state reinforces how proud we are of our students and teachers. You have worked hard to reach new, higher standards. Our district has responded very well to major changes in the assessment program and we look forward to continued success.

Sincerely,
Dr. Jim Chandler

Superintendent, Warren County R-III School District
