Immunizations
This is the image for the news article titled ImmunizationsBeginning with the 2016-17 school year, all incoming eighth grade students and high school seniors will be required to have the meningococcal (MCV4/meningitis) vaccine. These immunizations are required by the State of Missouri prior to the start of school.

All incoming eighth grade students are required to have one dose of meningococcal vaccine. All incoming seniors will require TWO meningococcal immunizations, unless the first dose was administered after the age of 16 years old, in which case only one dose is required. Most juniors have received one dose and will require a second dose before they start school next year.

This immunization can be received at any time now, and it is encouraged to get them done as soon as possible. Once you receive the immunization, an updated record needs to be sent to the school nurse. An updated shot record is required by the state of Missouri in order for your child to attend school.
